Welcome to our website, and thank you for stopping by! We hope you enjoy your visit with us and take a few moments to learn about our group and what we have to offer.
The Women's Connection of Northern N.J. is dedicated to serving women of all ages and walks of life. We host bi-monthly brunch events which feature presentations of interesting topics, local talent and a motivational speaker to "jump start" your day!
As our name suggests, our organization is for all women in the Northern New Jersey area. Our events are catered by The Villa at Mountain Lakes, conveniently located on NJ-Route 46 with easy access on and off Interstate 80.
We are affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, Inc., a non-denominational outreach organization. Stonecroft maintains over 1,100 groups like ours in the USA, and is actively involved in over 60 countries globally. For more information about our parent organization, visit them at their website, www.stonecroft.org
To find out more about our upcoming brunch events, visit our EVENTS section of this website. We look forward to seeing you!
Stonecroft Ministries is celebrating its 75th Anniversary and parties are being planned all over the nation. Here in New Jersey, we've set the date for Saturday, April 26, 2014. Stonecroft Ministries' new president/CEO Lorraine Potter Kalal will be attending as our Keynote Speaker. She's got a lot of exciting ideas for the future of the Ministry and she's eager to tell us all about them. The luncheon will include a Vintage Fashion Show highlighting special milestones in Ministry history, a Silent auction with some very special items on which to bid, and opportunities to see old friends and make new ones. For more more information and registration links, visit the NJ Compelled event webpage at http://stonecroft75nj.webs.com
At every brunch event, we will have a Networking Table where the women in attendance can display and promote their personal businesses. During each brunch, we will select a "featured" business. This entrepreneur will be given a few minutes of microphone time to talk about her enterprise! We will also include a blurb and link from our website to theirs, if available.
This month's Featured Business is SOZO. It is rare to find a company whose name perfectly aligns with its mission, its vision, and its purpose. SOZO is a Greek term meaning health, rejuvenation, and wholeness, and it is these qualities that SOZO brings to life. Best known for its healthy coffee products, SOZO also sells weight loss, nutritional and energy drinks as well as skin care products.
Our August 18, 2010, Teacher Appreciation brunch was featured on the front page of the Morris County Daily Record. To read the article, go to our "In the News" tab at the top of this page. To see photos from our 2012 Award brunch, take a look at our new photo album.
Check out our photo album! These lovely pictures were taken at our venue, The Villa at Mountain Lakes, during our "Secrets of a Master Chef" brunch. Executive Chef Joanna DeFrancesco was invited to divulge her tips and tricks in the kitchen, speaker Gina Lang taught us how to "wade successfully through the waves of life," and our new Chairperson Victoria was introduced. It was a fun day for everyone.
We regularly send out "tweets" with information about upcoming brunches, prayer coffes and Bible Studies. Follow us at www.twitter.com/mcwomenconnect.
